The Sweet: This little freebie is from an idea I got from a workshop that I attended with my sweet friend over at Smitten with First .  I think the best part of the workshop was talking with Michelle and sharing Pinterest ideas with each other at the back table. {click here } These are very simple but I think they are a great visual for the kids.  I think that it's important that these are used along with actual items that they've counted and sorted into groups.  I also purchased some great little place value dice.  Plus, I love the little goodies you get when you attend w

SWEET: Our view from the beach house was gorgeous.  The night we arrived we watched a pod of dolphins swim by our house.  The beach was alive with all kinds of sea creatures.   SASSY: HOLY Humidity!!  Florida was gorgeous but let's talk about the humidity.  I invested in a new selection of headbands because my new Florida "do" was never let my hair touch the rest of my body.  It was HOT!  SWEET: Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my new car. :) Well, I do!!!  It was a fun and zippy little ride on our vacation.  SASSY: But trading in the SUV and getting a new sporty car before a 20 hour road trip with 5 people, including 2 teenage boys with baseball gear.......not a good idea.  Notice the Mr. Sweet trying to get the trunk to close with all of our stuff.  Our luggage seemed to expand  every time we took it out.
